Volvo Service
Nothing shows how much a company value's its clients, and prides itself on customer service, more than how they deal with errors. Barrier is #1! When there was an issue with the service that was recently preformed on my XC70, Barrier and team (Writer: Richard Filori) came to my house (in Lake Stevens!!!) to get it right. It turned out to be an all day event for the Barrier "team" and I truly appreciate everyone's assistance. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone involved! Great job! I wanted you to know that purchasing a car from Barrier was an extremely pleasant experience. I went in with a friend to do some preliminary research, Jerzy did an excellent job of explaining the different features in the car, educated me about the warranty and how to read the stickers so I understood what I was looking at. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient and personable. I returned a few weeks later with my husband to purchase the car from Jerzy and we are enjoying our SLK, especially with the nice weather we’ve been having. KM

Coming over to Barrier is ALWAYS something I look forward to b/c the guys are smiling, its an opportunity to get the latest updates and be included in exciting conversations, to be accepted as "part of the club", and to gawk at some GORGEOUS cars! I always feel like my head is going to explode! Hans shuttled me to a coffee shop for my wait; his engaging character and zip did a better job explaining his car's complicated electronics than the manual ever could. Andrew took some time to look at rims w/ me; his patience is infinite and I've never seen him w/out a smile. :-) I didn't have the opportunity to interact w/ Justin today - but he's one of Barrier's most important assets. Kevin I'd spoken w/ a while back regarding all-weather tires, and I was flattered that he'd followed up after so much time w/ updates for me! Dear Mr. Barrier,
This letter is written to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service that I received from your service department and especially your service manager, Jason Vevang. On September 16,2008, I brought my Volvo 2001 car in to be serviced due to a problem with the electronic throttle module.
Prior to contacting Barrier Motors. I had been waiting for over a month with another Volvo dealership for this repair. As you could well imagine, I was very concerned about driving my car safely with this engine problem for that length of time. A friend who also owns a Volvo, suggested that I contact your dealership since she had been very pleased with the service and repair work completed on her car in the past. Imagine my surprise when contacting your service department that not only could the problem be corrected but also your service department would be able to schedule the work after receiving the part from California in a day or so. Jason Vevang made certain that the repair work was completed satisfactorily after I explained the past issues with the repair history. He took the time to listen to my concerns and addressed them immediately. Therefore the service work was completed in a timety fashion. I greatly appreciated this courtesy since my commute to your business is from Silverdale. Despite your business location, I will continue to maintain a client relationship with your dealership because of my complete satisfaction with your quality of service. You have demonstrated a strong commitment to your clients that reflects your high standards. Thank you for your outstanding professionalism!

I just purchased a 2006 SLK less than a month ago. The first week, my husband got the center console misaligned. I drove it into the bay and a service person was able to pop it back in and had me ready to go in 5 minutes, so this is actually my second visit to the service department. I'm extremely impressed with Barrier- starting with the Sales Dept, the new owner seminar was extremely informative and now the Service Department. You definitely live up to your promise to do more. A wonderful experience from the moment I walked on the lot!!

Volvo Sales
I purchased a Volvo S80 in 2000. Over the years I have grown to love that car and hoped to keep it for 25 years! Yesterday an idiot who was taking a corner waaay too fast crashed into the side of the car behind the driver's seat. The side air cushions deployed and, although I'm afraid that the car is a total loss, It has to be the safest car on the road anywhere. My husband, our dog and I had absolutely no reprecussions physically from the crash. I owe a lot to the people that designed this wonderful car. Even the people at the impound yard said that I would have not have fared nearly as well in any other car that they could think of. Just wanted to share my "survivor" story. Marlene N*

I was concerned about coming to Barrier b/c there were some negative comments on several dealership ratings web sites. You proved every one of them wrong. From the moment I drove on the lot, every single person I came into contact with was extremely kind and helpful. I started at the front desk/info center b/c I didn't even know where the service center was located. They actually walked me around to the service bay, while I followed in my car, and introduced me to the the service porter. Then the young man asked if I was OK, before he left me with the service folks. Superior service! I was assigned to Sheryl who I can not say enough about. I did not have an actual appointment, I just wanted to see how the service process went, get a tour of my new car, and make sure that there were no scary surprises since I did not purchase the car at a Mercedes dealership. She immediately understood my concerns about the car, assured me she would do everything possible to make sure I was completely satisfied. She is amazing! All the issues were taken care of, we ordered keys, manuals, and went over all the features of the car and how to care for them. She arranged for a rental right then and there, and I did not even get done at the Coffee machine in the waiting area before the Enterprise person was there ready to check me into my rental. Sheryl kept me updated all day about the progress on my car, and it was ready promptly the next morning by the time she had estimated. I am so completely satisfied, and will ONLY use Barrier to take good care of this car. The drive from Wenatchee is well worth the treatment that I received at your dealership. Thank You! Please make sure everyone from the porter, to Sheryl, the rental car service, and the parts window, knows how fantastic they really are. Especially in this economy packing added value into every interaction with your customer will ensure the continued success of your business.

I would like to commend Mr. Rodney Zins, a sales consultant at Bellevue Audi. Rodney sold an Audi to me in August this year.
I have deliberately waited to write this letter until I had experienced Barrier Audi’s (and Rodney’s) support after the sale.
To begin with, Rodney was very knowledgeable about the Barrier Audi products, but more importantly, he was not technically arrogant about his expertise. I am sure Barrier’s customers are typically professional, well-educated people. That is why Rodney’s knack for being well spoken about his product and responsive to the customer’s level of expertise should serve the Barrier Team very well.
After the sale, Rodney has followed up with sincere interest in how we felt about Barrier’s customer care and the car itself. He has done his best to coordinate with Service and Sales Management to resolve minor issues fairly and competently.
Overall, I am very well pleased about Barrier’s sales and after-sales customer service – certainly enough to feel confident about buying my next car through Barrier Motors and recommending that my friends do the same.
